Our Survey

During the third quarter of 2021 we sent out a survey to gain an insight into thoughts and feelings about the service we provide to our clients.

As financial planners, we believe in absolute transparency so we’re sharing the survey results so our future clients can see an overview of our performance.

Some basic findings of our client survey

We’re delighted with the response to the survey and we’re equally delighted with the positive feedback we have received.

We’re also glad that so many of our clients would feel comfortable recommending us to their friends and family. However, while the overwhelming majority of our clients would recommend us, we’d like to get to 100%! We asked our clients to let us know if there’s anything extra we can do to help them feel more comfortable recommending us.

Our performance

We were interested to see how satisfied our clients were with our performance and aspects and elements of the services we provide. We’re chuffed to say that Douglas White Financial Planning performed very highly for client satisfaction last year. We’re very gratified to see that 100% of our clients were satisfied with our performance across the board, but we’re now working hard to see more people in the ‘very satisfied’ category next time.

Areas of client discussion and main priorities

Some of the things we wanted to discover from our survey was the areas of discussion that are most important to our clients. We also wanted to discover what were the financial planning priorities of our different client groups, i.e. those who have not yet retired and those who have already retired.

In our survey, we asked clients an open question: “What is the biggest benefit you get from working with us?” In our sample, we’re delighted with some of the responses and all our team were thrilled with the comments received from this question. It provides a morale boost to know that the work we do genuinely helps our clients.
